On a sunny Saturday in May, seventy-six children and adults went off
to Farm Mart at the Kranji countryside and what a delightful time we had!
For Mummies and Daddies, there were a variety of fresh vegetables and
fruits to be bought. For the children (and adults, too) there
were so many pets to be fed and petted - quails, hamsters, rabbits,
goats and even frogs! And of course, the fish too has to be fed
(pity you can't pet them!).
We learnt how to tell male from female crabs, how bird nest (the
type you can eat) are made and how quails are farmed. Everyone had
hardboiled quails' eggs to snack on and to bring home. What a wonderful
outing that was!

Welcome to Farm Mart!!
Feeding time!
Here, rabbits. Nice carrots for you.
Wow! This is so fascinating!
Is this really Prince Charming or just a big fat frog?
